I was walking through the Hester St park on Saturday morning. I noticed a group of old women walking out of the gated playground area. They were dressed in some kind of traditional chinese clothing and were carrying instruments. It warmed my heart to see them as they walked out talking and laughing to each other. Joy has no age, I thought to myself.

As I walked away with a smile on my face, I heard one of the groups of women yell. I looked over to see what was going on. A man who was previously sitting on the bench ran in front of them blocking their path at the gate exit, pulled down the front part of his pants with one hand, and waved his johnson in the other. Fully torqued.

Hester St. park bathrooms next to the track. Enormous mud pile in the urinal.

I was waiting for my order at KO burger on the corner of Eldridge and Division in the afternoon. Across the street, there's one of those cafeteria style places where you pick 3-5 items you want to eat. They were closing the place down and putting a few boxes on the street. A drunk man carrying a brown bagged drink walks to the wall with a few of the recently placed boxes. He starts to undo his pants to urinate. The restaurant workers yell "you do somewhere else!". The man turns around, now facing the street, puts his finger to his mouth making the "shh" motion, and urinates himself on the sidewalk.

Corona Plaza, under the 7 train stairs. I saw two young children building a nest for a baby chicken on top of a milk crate.

Corner of 98th and Roosevelt. I saw a lady on the sidewalk grilling some kind of skewered rodents on a grill. Maybe guinea pigs.
